The City of DeSoto, the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Corporation share a common goal—to serve individuals and companies starting, relocating or growing their business in DeSoto. The City’s Development Services Department streamlines the processes required of developers and contractors to do business here.
Begin the development process by calling 972-230-9622 to be placed on the meeting agenda of the Development Review Committee (DRC).
Meetings are held every Thursday morning (business permitting). DRC members are staffers of the various city departments and representatives of outside utility companies who review development-related projects.
